UBCD 5.3.1 PXE

Hallo und wieder ein Thema für PXE.

Hab die Ultimate Boot CD 5.3.1 runtergeladen und bin nach diesem Script vorgegangen (hab natürlich die Vers. innerhalb des Scriptes angepasst).

Ich erhalte allerdings wenn ich die convert.sh ausführe folgenden Fehler beim ausführen...

sed: -e Ausdruck #1, Zeichen1: Unbekannter Befehl: ´*' 
sed: -e Ausdruck ä1, Zeichen2: Zusätliche Zeichen nach dem Befehl

Mein Server meldet mir jedoch nur dies zurück:

Der Client, hängt sich einfach bei der Auswahl des PXE Menüs auf....

Irgendwie glaube ich.... ich stampf langsam alles ein und geh nachhause....

Mal so ganz dumm gefragt, hast du mal den Weg vom Kommentar aus deinem Link probiert?

Wenn du das über opsi realisieren willst, musst du ein netboot Paket draus bauen.

Ansonsten kannst du in deine default.menu einen Eintrag für die Applikation reinbauen, falls deine Installation die default.menu noch verwendet.

ja ich hab die Schritte im Link abgefrühstückt.

Ich will es ja gar nicht im OPSI haben sondern nur über PXE booten.

APPEND ubcd531/ubcd/menus/syslinux/main.cfg

steht bei mir in der default drinne.

Vorallem lt. log versucht er ja die menu.c32 zu laden.... aber dann kommt keine Statusmeldung mehr... grübel

Mir ist schon klar das deine Frage nicht primär an opsi gerichtet war.

Aber entweder die ISO ist einfach kaputt oder was auch sein kann, ist das der bootcode (filename pxelinux.0) welches wir mit dem opsi-linux-bootimage verteilen nicht diese syslinux-Version unterstützt. Wir verteilen bewusst einen pxelinux.0 aus der syslinux Version 4. Wir haben die neueren mal versucht aber sobald wir den Bootcode updaten, funktioniert der PXE-Boot bei einer ganzen Reihe von Hardware nicht mehr richtig. Um so kompatibel wie möglich zu bleiben, haben wir uns entschieden den Bootcode nicht zu aktualisieren.

Sorry, aber ohne einen Supportvertrag können wir dir an dieser Stelle nicht weiterhelfen. Vielleicht hat jemand aus der Community noch eine Idee oder hat schon mal Erfahrung damit gesammelt.
