Hi,

I try to start the "configed" interface on "firefox" (46.0) or "edge" in "Windows 10" 64bits, and I receive this message :
"This browser ignores the applet tag completely"
Is there a solution ?

N.B. : "java" was installed with the "opsi javam" 1.8.0.60-1

Best regards.

because of the security flaws of any embedded machines the trend is to turn off java applets as well as flash in browsers by default.

Does the webstart variant work as it should?

Besides, it is always possible to run the configed as a local application (e.g., if have already a working opsi client, via the opsi package http://download.uib.de/opsi4.0/products ... 7.5-1.opsi )

The last option is to activate applets in some browser,

Greetings
Rupert

Hi,

What is the webstart variant ?

N.B. : "configed" as a local application works.
N.B.2 : I find the old "Internet Explorer 11" which works to.

Regards.

the direct link to the webstart variant is https://<opsiserver>:4447/configed.jnlp . It should be as well the first link on https://<opsiserver>:4447

It should work with your firefox version as well
