Hi,
Currently i'm running Opsi 4.0.5. Is it possible to update to 4.0.6 without checking in and creating all the products again?
With regards,
Kees....

Uh, yeah of course you do not have to use opsi-package-manager.
Isn't this described in the manual somewhere, how to update to a newer version? Or in the releasenotes of 4.0.6?
If you're updating, do not forget to first update the config-server, and then the depots.
Also do not forget to run: opsi-backup create
After updating with your package manager, of course also run: opsi-product-updater -i -vv
Afterwards I had to change the files in /tftpboot/linux/pxelinux.cfg/ so the PXE environment would show up in English. If you're running CentOS you might run into a little problem with python-Twisted.

Hi Kees,
good to hear.
We usually have special information inside the releasenotes. The one for 4.0.6 is here:
