Hallo,

ich versuche schon ne Weile die in der Kurzanleitung empfohlene VM (http://download.uib.de/vmware_pxeclient.zip) mit windows7-64 zu betanken…
Das ganze PE-Gedöns hat wohl funktioniert. Die VM startet direkt mit "Windows is loading files"
Dann werden aber keine LAN-Treiber gefunden.

Ich hab dann mal die DP_LAN_wnt6-x64_1208.torrent runtergeladen und nach Anleitung installiert.

in den HW-Infos steht die Netzwerkkarte als AMD 79x970 drin. PCnet32 LANCE

Im consolelog steht:

Die VM ist von 2011.
Das Gerät 'Hard disk 1' verfügt über einen nicht unterstützten Backing-Typ. Es handelt sich um eine allgemeine Einschränkung der Kompatibilität der virtuellen Hardware mit der ESXi-Version des ausgewählten Hosts.
Es müssen ja Daten drauf sein, sonst macht die Treibersuche ja keinen Sinn. Also kann ich sie nicht wegpusten.

Jemand noch n Tipp ?

Isn't it possible to change the network card of the VM? With Sun VirtualBox you can choose a few other types.

The driver is not there. Even not with this fat landriverpackage.

We use vSphere 5.5 ... no type of card to change.

I'll found here in the forum the same questions back to 2009. But no answer for me.

Hilft neuen Win7 Client unter vSphere 5.5 ... mit passender Netzwerkkarte ( e1000 oder VMXNET3 ) anlegen, MAC generieren und in opsi eintragen?

guter Gedanke. Er kommt bis zum X:\windows\system32\cmd.exe startnet.cmd.
Dauerloop:
Der Befehlt "o:\win7-x64\installfiles\setup.exe" ist entweder falsch oder konnte nicht gefunden werden.
mountresult: 0 : der Vorgang wurde erfolgreich beendet.

setup.exe gibt es auf dem ganzen opsi-System nicht.
Das Verzeichnis installfiles ist leer.

opsi-Handbuch: installfiles
Enthält bei Windows Vista und größer (NT 6.x / 7) den Inhalt der Installations-CD.

Ok, das LAN-Problem scheint jedenfalls gelöst. Danke Euch. Und weiter gehts.
