./create_driver doesn't work
Verfasst: 10 Nov 2014, 11:29

Hi,
When i add drivers in byAudit/Dell Inc. and i run ./create_driver_links nothing happens.
I get just the message driver 105/105. No matter how many folders I add.
When I add a dir in drivers/preferred (E6510) drivers are added.
Now the message is 200/200
Its it possible to rescan (or maybe reset) byAudit?
With regards,
Kees.....

Hello Kees,
normally you also need a folder that has the name of the model you want to integrate drivers for. Please have a look at the
driver integration in the getting started.
Every time you run the script the folders are scanned.
What version of the Windows product are you using?
With kind regards
Niko

Hi Niko,
My structure is /var/lib/opsi/win7-x64-us/drivers/drivers/additional/byAudit/Dell Inc./ (E6540, E6530, E6520) etc
Normally i never had problems with it. When i place folders in ../preferred it scans without problems
Greetings,
Kees....

Don't. This was meant for drivers built into rolled out image.

Hi Niko,
I extracted the opsi file, new-product-id, renamed it.
After that i was able to create the driver links.
I don't know why it was, but i'm happy again
Thanks for your help
Greetings,
Kees....

Hi Niko,
I thought my problem was solved. But, after adding another driver folder it stops adding drivers.
Now it goes to 486.
On the Opsi server at work i have exactly same drivers. There its couting till 1450
What product version do you mean?
With regards,
Kees...

Hi Niko.
Found a partly solution in "byAudit" topic.
However this works fine in /home/opsiproducts/*
Does not work in /var/lib/opsi/depot
