Hi,
Anyone encounter this? We have an ongoing deployment of the opsiclient agent to the entire enterprise. It is perfectly working for most of the PCs but there are some that failed to start the opsiclientd to start causing the bootup of computer to become slow. I found out that the registry created for opsicliend service is incomplete. I manually created the registry , copied from a working machine then start the service and it worked. I also used the import/export of registry and it worked fine. I just wonder why during installation the registry was not created completely. I even re-pushed the agent but still the same result.

Thank you .

Hi,

without an opsi-client-agent.log (install.log from opsi-client-agent), we can't say anything. Have you checked this logfile after installation of opsi-client-agent on one of these problem-computers?
