Strange, sorry!

Well, maybe its quicker te explain it.

When i try to image a client who is in another vlan it doesn't work. Opsi wants to access the smb share with opsi-nl-dev . Client is in vlan ehv.xxx.xx
So the client has to mount on opsi-nl-dev.dev.xxx.xx.

Since we have 8 offices with multiple vlans its easier to change opsi config. (I hope)

But, how can i change this?

Well, it shouldn't work if it is in another vlan! That is the point of vlans.
I don't really understand the rest of your problem :|

Hi,

Try to explain it better....
When i try to PXE opsi is trying to mount //opsi-nl-dev/opsi_depot. I receive an error that opsi can't resolve hostname opsi-nl-dev.
My idea is that when i try to mount //opsi-nl-dev.dev.xxx.xx/opsi_depot.

So, is it possible to change the hostname to FQDN? (or ip address)
I can ping from vlan where client is in to opsi server.

With regards,

Kees....

Hi,

you can change this in "Properties of Depot" directly in the configed (on the top, second button on the right side). You must edit the configuration: depotRemoteUrl, then you can change this option to IP-Address or FQDN.

Thnxs, looked on many places. Not on such an easy, logical place!!

Works fine now
