Hi,

I can not deploy the drivers (chipset) of my computers (Dell optiplex 755, 960, 980, 990, 9010, 9020)
For all other drivers I have no problem.

Have you tried installing without these drivers? I think the windows driver will be used for the IDE controller.

I think the serial controller is part of Intel AMT. I don't know why intel keeps making a mess of their AMT drivers, half of it has got the HECI driver, but not the SOL driver. Try to find the most recent version of the Intel AMT driver package that ends in 5.0M
This has both the SOL and HECI driver. You do not need older versions for older computers, last time I looked, less than six months ago.
For the SOL and HECI driver use this link: https://downloadcenter.intel.com/Detail ... i&lang=eng
Yes, it says Windows 8.1, but it also has support for XP. Copy the contents of the Drivers directory to your OPSI server, and throw the rest away. (Download the file, ctrl+page down in total commander)

Uhm, I should first search before writing a reply. IDE-R is IDE redirection, and that other thing is indeed SOL, Serial-Over-Lan. They both have something to do with Vpro. Anyway, I can't help you further, cause I can't find the damn bloody drivers on the intel site. If you are not going to use vpro / amt / whatever-they-want-to-call-it-this-month you can install those dells without these drivers. If the error in device manager bothers you, maybe turning amt off in the bios will help.
