startnet.cmd Problem

Dear all,

After a while using OPSI really succesfully, now I am facing a problem and my win7-64 deployments stopped working, after adding all the drivers and the first machine reboot, cmd.exe startnet.cmd gives me the following error:

mountresult: 53 : The network path was not found

I tried cleaning the drivers, with no luck, after the scripts tries many times I go to the command line, and ipconfig shows a correct network configuration and I can ping the opsi server.

Any idea how I can debug this?
Like always, thank you for all your help

Hello carles,

the error message indicates trouble with samba.
Does samba run on your server?
Is it possible to mount the samba share on another machine?

Thanks for your fast reply n.wenselowski,

Yes, smbd is running on the machine and I am able to mount the share on other machines using the pcpatch user. Any other idea?

Hello carles,

what share did you mount on the other machines?
You could try to do a manual mount of the same share on the machine troubling you. Did you try that?

Kind regards

Niko
