Hi all,
I don't know if this is a bug but I've decided to raise a flag about it here.
I'm new to Opsi and learning it for a project I should work on - creating 20 laptops with Windows + modifications by Wednesday.

During the PXe learning phase I saw that the pxelinux.cfg/default pointing to a default label menu.c32 - which causing the system to boot directly from the HD - it also contain no prompt option - as prompt set to 0.
For testing on your VM or in any test condition that running on a lab I think its better to use default install - to point the install option.

If not on production at-least on your VM version.

FYI.

Well, you normally set options from the web interface, and this works quite well.

I have set up all computers at my work to start from PXE. It takes a few extra seconds, but I do not have to mess in every bios when I need to refresh the hardware or software inventory. I can just easily set everything from the web interface, and with next boot this will be run.

By wednesday? WTF, they think you don't have anything better to do?

Hello CrAzYoNi,

you can just edit the default-file if you really want to.

Otherwise I do work like SisterOfMercy does because no PXE boot is done if no data is present.

Kind regards
