Hi,
anyone successfully installed windows 8 with OPSI?
Can describe me how?
I tryed, but in the middle of install it stops and I have no idea why.
I made winpe with ADK and copy whole Windws8 DVD to installfiles folder.

Hi,
please take the packages *4.0.3-7* from
http://download.uib.de/opsi4.0/experimental/
for testing with win8*.
If you have a working winpe for win7, so it should work also with win8

yes, I have working Win7x64 wimpe. I did't tought on possibility that it works with Windows 8 too.
I will try.
I updated product packages on 4.0.3 version so I have all up to date.
I'll try to copy winpe and unattend file from Win7x64 to win8x64 and hope it will work.

... I followed your instructions about version upgrade and used winpe of win7x64.
But during boot, just before downloading files from opsi server,
client reports error "createPartition () got an unexpected keyword argument 'number' ".
Any idea why?

yes, this was my thaught too ... but didn't find command to do this ...
