Hi,

It seems that the ProtectYourPC -setting in unattend.xml is completely ignored when installing windows 7. Apparently setting SkipMachineOOBE to true makes windows ignore it and other values during setup. The solution might be to set all the oobe values in unattend.xml (or oobe.xml?). Has anyone successfully done this?

this [url=http://technet.microsoft.com/en-gb/libr ... 16280.aspx]technet articleurl] says that setting SkipMachineOOBE to true will disable Windows Welcome and features depending on it - i.e. ProtectYourPC - probably will not function correctly.
The article also has links with recommendations how to automate Windows Welcome.
