Installation Problem: ERROR: Bad fqdn: '<PC-Name>' [gelöst]]

Hallo an alle,

Ich habe folgendes Problem. Ich versuche schon seit zwei Tagen OPSI auf einem Ubuntu 13.04 zum Laufen zu bekommen. Das Problem liegt meiner Meinung nach daran, dass die /etc/hosts nicht richtig angepasst ist. Zur Zeit sieht es so aus, dass sie folgendes enthält:

10.1.4.135 test.uib.local
# 10.1.4.135 <PC-Name>

Daraufhin gibt getent hosts $(hostname -f) folgendes zurück:

Bei der Installation von opsi-depotserver meldet dann das Paket opsi-linux-bootimage diese:

ERROR: Bad fqdn: '<PC-Name>'
PS: Ich habe auch schon versucht, OPSI mit dem VMwarePlayer zu starten. Dort habe ich jedoch keine Netzwerkverbindung...

Ich hoffe, dass ich alle relevanten Daten geliefert habe und würde mich über eure Hilfe freuen

Hallo fairsein,

Es wäre nun interessant zu wissen, ob <PC Name> wirklich auch ein FQDN (https://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/FQDN) ist, was aber ohne ihn zu kennen schwer zu beurteilen ist. ;)

Als kleines Beispiel die /etc/hosts von einem meiner Test-Server:

127.0.0.1       localhost
192.168.20.150  xubuntu-oat.uib.local   xubuntu-oat

# The following lines are desirable for IPv6 capable hosts
::1     ip6-localhost ip6-loopback
fe00::0 ip6-localnet
ff00::0 ip6-mcastprefix
ff02::1 ip6-allnodes
ff02::2 ip6-allrouters
In deiner hosts-Datei würde ich die erste Zeile wieder einkommentieren, damit localhost korrekt aufgelöst wird.
Angenommen der Tatsache dass test.uib.local der FQDN deines Rechners sowie 10.1.4.135 die zugehörige IP ist, sollte folgende Zeile in deiner hosts-Datei zu finden sein:

Danke für die Hilfe.

Der PC-Name ist note-9012. Das ist glaube ich kein FQDN. Mein etc/hosts sieht jetzt so aus:

Bei der Installation kommt immer noch ERROR: Bad fqdn: 'note-9012'. Auch bei folgender etc/hosts kommt der gleiche Fehler:

Hi,

hier liegt ein Missverständnis vor. Der host-Eintrag muss so sein, wie der Server sich selber kennt:

probier mal statt:
fairsein hat geschrieben:10.1.4.135 note-9012 test

10.1.4.135 note-9012.domain.local note-9012 test
Der Eintrag von meinem Kollegen war nur als Beispiel gedacht und nicht zum übernehmen. :D
