Hello,
I am evaluating opsi. I need to use it to map/install printers on windows client and to map shares for users at login. Is it possible?
Thanks,
Mario
[NEWBIE] Can I map a smb share?

You can use opsi to install printers, even if I must admit, there are better ways to do.mgiammarco hat geschrieben: I am evaluating opsi. I need to use it to map/install printers on windows client and to map shares for users at login. Is it possible?
When OPSI is used to install printers, mostly in combination with ... rundll32 printui.dll,PrintUIEntry /q /dl /n <printername>
What do you mean: map shares for users at login?
OPSI mounts the \\<host>\opsi_depot share using a special user (pcpatch), the intention of OPSI is not to offer samba shares to endusers. Or do you mean something different?
Try to explain your scenario as precise as possible.
