Re: Starting OPSI

the best way to do this.
Get the getting started manual:
And follow the steps in the documentation. For detailed information you can look in the official manual:

Re: Starting OPSI
You can also look at the OPSI wiki: wiki/userspace:opsi-server_base_installation
If I have some free time I might be able to update the CentOS 6.3 installation (the one I did previously) to a CentOS 6.4 installation with some new insights. Compared to some other software manuals the OPSI manuals are quite clear and not filled with nonsense
From the BOFH archives:
As I said, this is normally the case, but with OPSI not quite!

From the BOFH archives:
http://bofh.ntk.net/BOFH/index.phpIt's a calm morning network-wise when I arrive at the office to prepare for a site visit and to continue defending my company's recent bad name and business from the potential takeover.
I realise once more why I discourage site visits normally. Their only purpose is to pretend to a customer that the stuff really does work like it says in the brochure by finding a site that's worked out where the manual went wrong and fixed it.
As I said, this is normally the case, but with OPSI not quite!
