Hi,
I have recently met freeze on being installed opsi client. Every time i try to install Windows XP, intallation stuck here:
http://dior.ics.muni.cz/~mlebeda/IMAG0274.jpg
If i try install Windows 7 integrating finish with same behavior but stuck on on total end (approx. 3 more lines - neugestart, neu start or something - after that message is expected restart and continue installation which does not come). After hard restart computer continues in installing OS.
This error comes only on computers with mainboard Gigabyte GA-H61M-S2PV.
Anyone met this strange behavior?

Hi,
perhaps you should give the testing packages a chance to do the job:
viewtopic.php?f=10&t=3865
http://download.uib.de/opsi4.0/testing/ ... tes-en.pdf
Therefor you have to change the repository to testing.
For example on Debian 6 from
Code: Alles auswählen
deb http://download.opensuse.org/repositories/home:/uibmz:/opsi:/opsi40/Debian_6.0 ./
to
Code: Alles auswählen
deb http://download.opensuse.org/repositories/home:/uibmz:/opsi:/opsi40-testing/Debian_6.0 ./
and than update the server.
You will get a newer bootimage this way.
Please give feedback if it works after the update.

Is it possible to take newer bootimage to opsi and do not update whole ecosystem? This system is essential in our company and in my opinion it is big risc.
In case of this testing release: when it will become final?

Hi,

yes it is possible.
Look here for the package that match to your server:
http://download.opensuse.org/repositori ... 0-testing/
I think it will become stable in the next two weeks (i hope - it will be become stable when we think that all parts are stable)
But for example on Ubuntu 12.04 or RedHat 6 you should use the testing repository right now.
