Opsi client before wifi connection

Hi,

We have the client installed on several machines and when they are connected to wired networking, everything works fine at boot.
The network connection is there and the client can connect to the opsi server.
When we try to do this over wifi, the client is unable to connect to the server.
We noticed that the wifi isn't active on the machine, before the user logon.
So the user needs to be logged on to have wifi active and therefore opsi client fails.
Is there a solution for this problem ? is it possible to run the client when the user has logged on, or can we do a user logon in opsi so we can use the wifi ?
Kind regards,

Eddy

Hi,

the opsi-client-agent may be configured in very different ways. It is event based so you may choose different events to start the actions so for example the activating of a network interface.

You should take a deeper look at:

Perhaps the opsi-WAN -Extension may interest you:
