GetFileInfoMap liefert keine kompletten Maps

Hallo zusammen,
GetFileInfoMap scheint bei einigen Applikationen keine vollstaendigen Maps zurueckzuliefern. Im konkreten Fall habe ich dieses Problem mit VLC 2.0.3:
Wahrend eine FileInfoMap von Firefox so aussieht:
Im Explorer werden fuer beide Applikationen die korrekten Versionen angezeigt und auch das filever-Tool von Microsoft listet die Versionen richtig auf:
Liegt es evtl. am Typ "APP ENU"? Und wenn ja, ist das ein Bug oder gibt es eine Moeglichkeit, auch von solchen Applikationen die korrekten FileInfoMaps zu erhalten? Man koennte vielleicht "file version with dots" verwenden aber kann jemand bestaetigen, dass das mit allen Applikationen funktioniert?
