Opsi & Avast

Hi,

A user has Avast (anti virus) installed. I had to disable it to install Opsi, not a real problem. But the moment Avast is active again, it's taking minutes to show the login-screen, and Opsi does not work. Disabling Avast again results in normal behaviour : Opsi running and then the loginscreen in an acceptable time. Enabling Avast gives the same problems again. Etc.

What do I have to exclude from Avast to have Opsi working like it should ?

Thanks,

Koenraad.

Hi,

perhaps the opsiclientd.exe.

But could you please have a look at the logs of avast and give us all information about the avast version,
so that we could contact the avast programmers.
According to the fact, that opsi is designed to change your system, some virus scanners may think it is bad software.
But normally they are solve this problem if we contact them.
