opsi 4.0.1 Updates stable/testing/experimental

Sehr geehrte opsi-Anwender,

wir freuen uns Ihnen mitteilen zu können, dass wir das
kofinanzierte Projekt 'Software On Demand (Kiosk-Mode)' hiermit kostenlos freigeben. Damit Sie 'Software On Demand (Kiosk-Mode)' ohne Freischaltung verwenden können, benötigen Sie den opsi-client-agent (4.0.1-23). Die Veröffentlichung der entsprechenden Sourcen unter GPL folgt in den nächsten Tagen.

Gleichzeitig stellen wir die neue kofinanzierte opsi-Erweiterung
'User Profile Management' vor. Details siehe unten.

Bedenken Sie bitte beim Update der Windows NT6 Pakete auch die unattend.xml.template aus dem Verzeichnis opsi ins Verzeichnis custom zu übernehmen, oder die Änderungen in Ihrer unattend.xml nach zu ziehen.

Zu den Inhalten:

opsi Erweiterung 'User Profile Management':
Diese neue Erweiterung stellen wir hiermit unter experimental zur Verfügung.

Der opsi-winst verfügt über eine Reihe von speziellen Befehlen um Modifikationen in Profilen vorzunehmen. Diese arbeiten aber auf den lokalen Profilen und sind beim Einsatz von 'Roaming Profiles' weitgehend nutzlos.
Mit der opsi Erweiterung 'User Profile Management' wird nun eine Möglichkeit geschaffen auch hier Veränderungen an den Profilen vorzunehmen.
Dies geschieht in dem beim User login der opsi-winst gestartet wird um spezielle 'userLoginScripte' auszuführen.
Eine detaillierte Beschreibung der opsi Erweiterung 'User Profile Management' finden Sie in dem entsprechenden Kapitel (17) des unter experimental veröffentlichten opsi-manual.
Zur Verwendung dieser Erweiterung benötigen Sie eine Freischaltdatei. Zur Evaluierung können Sie eine temporäre Freischaltdatei bei info@uib.de anfordern.
