UCS Opsi Install unable to find opsi-directory-connector

Hi,

I'm currently installing opsi on a UCS server, and although the opsi installation process went flawlessly, now that I am trying to install extensions such as the opsi-directory-connector so opsi can integrate with the UCS LDAP, the package doesn't seem to exist. I've tried every CLI command I can think of and have been suggested, both in opsi-cli terminal and as root, but univention-install, apt-get, and opsi-package-updater all seem unable to find the extension. I'm stumped, and feel like I'm missing something obvious, so any help would be appreciated.

Hi,

Are you using the UCS app or our repos directly?
The directory connector is located in our repos. The repo must be integrated into the system.
Here is the link to the documentation: https://docs.opsi.org/opsi-docs-en/4.3/ ... stallation

And here is the link to the repository: https://download.opensuse.org/repositor ... ntion_5.0/

Best regards,
Fabian

Hi Fabian,

Thanks for the reply. Opsi was installed through the UCS app store, not manually. Is it advisable to attempt a manual installation of the directory connector from the repo?

Hi,

Yes, the directory connector is not included in the app.
It could also run on a completely different machine.

Fabian
