How to remove old/uninstalled packages from Configed “Free Client Search” Product ID

Hello OPSI community,

I’m managing my OPSI server and using Configed to manage clients and packages. In Configed, under the “Free Client Search” menu, the Product ID filter shows all packages that have ever existed on the server — including packages that were uninstalled from all clients.

I cannot find a way to permanently remove these old/uninstalled packages from the server so they no longer appear in the Product ID filter.

Is there a recommended way to clean up these “orphaned” packages from the OPSI depot, so the Product ID filter only shows currently available/installed packages?

Thank you!

Hello,

you can use the following command on the OPSI server to clean up orphaned packages:

Code: Alles auswählen

opsi-package-manager --purge
