We have old OPSI server version 4.0.7.5.22.
OPSI version 4.2 is already available.
We would like to install OPSI on new physical server.
Is it possible to migrate windows clients and windows software packages from old OPSI server 4.0.7.5.22 to new OPSI server 4.2 ?

Yes, this is possible.

It is quite an intricate process. I setup a new server, moved the backend over and the repository and the depot. But I had quite a few hiccups to fix. You might want to ask uib if they can help you, especially because your server is not on 4.1
