HI ALL,

i used to install clients with the uefi pxe boot (without the uefi module) i could do this if i started pxe in eufi mode. Now i upgraded to the latest version and when i do the same now it tells me yust before the install that the uefi module is not activated.

Did opsi changed its policy about this?

Hi

no the policy didn't change.
If you want to use the UEFI extension, you have to buy it ;)

Cheers

I just want to install the client as uefi. I start the opdi boot image. With the earluer version 4.0 i could then install as uefi. (Only when i booted from opsi boot ikage) now with the new version 4.1 this is not possible anymore?

Hi

The UEFI extension is a paid module and also the UEFI netboot is part of it. As we implemented a check in the opsi-linux-bootimage the validation check now fails for you.
The solution is to buy the extension.
