windows 2019

Beitragvon SisterOfMercy » 13 Mai 2019, 00:10

I just installed win2019, I mean it shows up in configed.

I find it strange you can select the architecture. As far as I know there is no 32-bit version of windows server 2019 (and 2016 neither). Server 2022 may have an ARM64 version the way things are going now.

Also, does OPSI support server core installations? (oh never mind, I will find out next week and report back)

Hi

the architecture is only of relevance for the used bootimage as there are machines that aren't 32bit compatible.

Cheers

Oh. Shouldn't that option be in the windows10-x64 netboot product too then?
What kind of machines are we talking about?

Hi

this property is available in all current Windows netboot products.

I cant remember the specific machines but we had some customer Dell machines that didn't work properly on a 32 bit bootimage.

Cheers
