Ok, two problems:
first problem: You don't get a service connection. When the login-mask pops up, you must enter credentials from an opsiadmin not from local machine like Administrator, ...
second problem: You don't use clean FQDN-Names. Underscores in Hostnames are not allowed, because there are not allowed by restriction in the RFC.
You should use your own DNS-Domain, if you have no Domain you can use something like: opsi.local, by the domain is really important that you use a sub-top-leveldomain, for example: opsi.local works but only opsi will not work.
After this you should rename your client: "adsl_it-pc" to "adsl-it-pc". Last but not least run service_setup.cmd on the Client and when the Installation asks you to enter user credentials, enter the usercredentials which you use for the login to opsi-configed.
Then it should work.

Hi,
the first line in the create client is not the IP ADDRESS but the clients name part of the full qualified DNS Name.
If the client is : 'mybox.mydom.com' so enter 'mybox'

Hello
There is no AD ; all the clients are in WORKGROUP ; I have tried with the computer name also but not working - shall I have to have an entry in the hosts file in the client mc ...computer name and its ip address
Also , I am selecting the client and trying to shutdown the remote client - the error is : ip is not found out - but the windows client is successfully on the client list tab
What can be the problem ....
To make your opsi 4.0.2 at per with similar remote asset management system , I know what faclities are rewquired from opsi . The USB blocking is absolutely necessary . Also , the software and hardware inventory list -- aggregated over all the clients and not individual client wise .

Hello d.oertel
The remote client is created but its hw and sw inventory is not visible ; I have selected the Product configuration option , then selected the lines hwaudit first and then swaudit ; selected requested action and then selected action setup using the left mouse button click - finally saved the new selection ; then rebooted the client but ; but hwaudit and swaudit on the client didnot started automatically .
What to do .....
best regards
