How are you going to preserve your changes after opsi-client-agent update?

Extract the new version, and make the same adjustments. It's a bit of a low-tech solution

FYI: we had a partner requesting this feature and and an internal ticket was created for this. Currently no ETA, but maybe yet with 4.0.6.

My "solution" still works after many OPSI updates, but today I noticed, that there is a new property for opsi-client-agent package: setup_after_install

It is also present on many netboot products. This should make it very easy to deploy a large group of clients with a set of default programs
