Is there any way to enable debug on the client side to check what is happening?

some users report us a with us not reproducable exception in our installation program winst. The effect is that the process does not return and the parent process continues to wait.

Just this things seems to have occurred with you.

After the installation is finished, the "open pc server integration" screen with a "stop installation" button stays..
and it just does nothing.

You may see what is happening if you connect to the client machine, e.g. by winexe, and look at the tasklist. Killing winst32.exe makes the process continue.

At this moment, we can offer a workaround:

Download a package with the older winst version, http://download.uib.de/opsi3.3/testing/ ... 6.1-2.opsi

The older version did not show this problem.

Or try the newest version where we hope (but not know since the problem is not reproducable ..) that the problem does not reappear:
