we are currently running Office 2024 with Access Runtime 2010. Since the update from Office 2016 to 2024 we are having the issue that after every Windows Update, Access requires multiple admin-promts just to open again. Since that isn't really an option at the scale of PCs, we've decided to update the Access Runtime to a new version.
With the Office installer for Office 2024 LTSC is no longer possible to install the current, or matching Access Runtime version. When trying to install the 365 Runtime trough the Office installer, an error message displays that states that the 365 Runtime can't install due to Office 2024 LTSC.
After some searching we've found the following Access 365 Runtime from Microsoft direct [https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/off ... cbe3ea09c9], intended for our Office version. This only provided a online installer that downloads the actual program from the internet. Since most of the PCs we manage are offline only, we are looking for an offline installer or a way to "convert" this online installer into an offline installer.
Has anyone had a similar problem and found a solution to it? We are glad for any help or ideas on how to "fix" this.
