opsi 4.3 October Release 2025

Dear opsi community,

we are pleased to announce the official release of the latest version of opsi today.

This release focuses on bug fixes and minor improvements.

Discontinuation of opsi-QuickInstall
The opsi-QuickInstall project has been discontinued.
For operating and installing opsi, our preconfigured virtual machine, the Docker image, and distribution packages for most common Linux distributions are still available.

opsi-wim-capture
With version 4.3.0.8-1, "opsi-wim-capture" and "opsi-local-image-wim-capture" have been merged into a single product ("opsi-wim-capture").
The "opsi-local-image-wim-capture" package has been removed from our repositories. There are now two operating modes available: "opsi-local-image" and "standard" (via Clonezilla).

The ProductProperties of "opsi-wim-capture" have been consolidated and partially renamed as follows:

• `abortonnobackup` → `oliabortonno_backup` (only in oli mode)
• `clonezillaimagefile` → `backupimagefile` (in both oli and standard modes)
• `verifyclonezillaimages` → `clonezillaverifyimages` (only in standard mode)
• `pepartitionnumber` → `olipepartition_number` (only in oli mode)
• `systempartitionnumber` → `olisystempartition_number` (only in oli mode)
• `source_mode` (in both oli and standard modes) with values "auto", "opsi-local-image" and "standard" (new)

opsi-configed

This release mainly includes bug fixes and two changes:

• Logviewer: Added an option to copy selected or all text via the context menu.
• opsi-configed: Removed the `meta_config` host parameter.

Additionally, a fix for Portables has been integrated that should prevent the jli.dll error.

mint22-2

We now made mint22-2 available in stable.
