opsiconfd
The latest version of opsiconfd comes with numerous bug fixes, optimizations and useful new functions.
One highlight is the expansion of the health check:
It now includes additional checks that analyze the status of opsi packages on depot servers and clients. Outdated or failed packages are reliably detected and reported.
opsi-client-agents
The handling of the service connection has been fundamentally revised:
- Resource-saving operation
- Bundling of multiple connections to increase efficiency
- Faster execution of actions
- More fault tolerant and robust in case of problems
- More intelligent cache usage to optimize the process
opsi-cli
In addition to various improvements and bug fixes, the new version contains a particularly practical function:
The `opsi-cli package fetch` command can be used to load an already installed product directly from an opsi package depot and create a new opsi package from it.
opsi-setup-detector
The revised opsi-setup-detector offers bug fixes and new functions:
- Control files are now created in TOML format by default
- The `uninstall_before_install` option is disabled by default
- When using a custom channel, all files from `custom/additional_files` are taken over
- The default icon is automatically loaded from `template-files\<channel>\images\template.png`
The updated Linux-Netboot products contain various improvements and bug fixes.
Also new is the support for the installation of Debian 13 “Trixie”.
