today we published new packages for opsi.
opsiconfd
In addition to various bug fixes, the new opsiconfd also brings some improvements:
- The software inventory tables have been adapted to support the arm64 architecture in the future and provide a better overview of the installed operating systems.
- During the TLS connection setup, opsiconfd now always sends the complete certificate chain.
opsi-cli
The new version of opsi-cli brings several new features alongside bug fixes and stability improvements:
- The --process option allows actions set via client-action set-action-request to be executed immediately. Additionally, the --process-visibility option enables control over visibility on the client.
- A session_lifetime can now be configured in the service settings, allowing session validity to be extended and reducing the need for frequent authentication.
- The new --product-type option in the package list command allows filtering results to display only Localboot or Netboot products.
- With the newly introduced --setup-where-installed and --update-where-installed options, product actions can now be set directly when using the package install command.
opsi VM
The new opsi-VM has been updated to the current package status. The initial configuration has been extensively revised and modernized.
opsi-configed
The new opsi-configed contains a number of bug fixes. In addition, a few functionalities have been added:
- Multiple client and product groups can now be selected so that the included clients/products are displayed in the tables.
- There is now a function to reverse the selection of clients in the table. You can access this function at the bottom of the context menu by right-clicking on the client table.
- Server-wide host parameters can now only be created via the server configuration.
- A click on a button in the Depot, Client, or Product tab selects all elements without the need for an extra check.
opsi-client-agent
The new opsi-client-agents for Windows, Linux, and macOS contain new versions of opsiclientd and opsi-notifier, which include a number of bug fixes and improvements. Especially installation in the context of wim-capture has been made more robust.
swaudit
In the latest version of the opsi product swaudit, the collection of information about the installed operating system has been revised and adapted to the changed data structure of the opsi service. In addition, operating system information is now also recorded under macOS. Support for the arm64 architecture has also been improved.
