opsi 4.3 May Release

Dear opsi users,

today we published new packages for opsi.

* With today Release we publish the support for Ubuntu24-04 as opsi server supported distribution in opsi 4.3. One can also use Ubuntu 24-04 as a client in opsi 4.2 and opsi 4.3. To install Ubuntu 24-04 with the ubuntu24-04 it is needed to download the Ubuntu 24-04 server iso and place it in the iso subdirectory of the product. Please keep in mind that the hardware or VM needs to have at least 6GB of RAM to install it with the ubuntu24-04 netboot product. You can also install Ubuntu24-04 with the netboot product 'ubuntu'. To do soset the property 'release' to 'noble'.

* The opsi-configed 4.3.2.14 is now released in stable. The biggest change concerns the handling of product groups. These are no longer selected and changed in the product tables, but in the tabs on the left-hand side. There is now - similar to the clients - a tree that displays the product groups recursively. The layout of the left-hand side has been slightly revised accordingly. The operating concept for the product groups is the same as for the clients. A product group or individual products can be selected in the product tree. Now only the selected products are displayed in the Localboot and Netboot tables. Product groups can then also be edited by right-clicking on the tree and using drag-and-drop - just like the client groups.

Another improvement concerns the message bus terminal: This can now be connected directly to a connected client by right-clicking on that client.

The one-time password (OTP) can now be entered in an extra field in the login window.
