401 unauthorized - Subdomainzugriff schlägt fehl

Hallo Forum :)

wir haben ja bekanntlich einen OPSI-Server im Produktiven Einsatz und schon einige Erfahrungen sammeln können.
Nun aber leider mal wieder ein Problem bei dem wir nicht so recht selbst weiter wissen.

Der OPSI-Server "steht" in der Domäne xyz.firma.de, der zu installierende Client in der Domäne sub.xyz.firma.de

Die Installation an sich läuft auch schön durch aber DANN:

Beim starten des Preloginloaders bekommen wir oben genannten Fehler.
Der Eintrag für den OPSI-Server im DNS ist gemacht. Das Log lässt darauf schliessen, dass der Name falsch aufgelöst wird.
Die Dateien auf dem OPSI-Server sind mit client.sub.xyz.firma.de angelegt, sowohl die Ini-Datei als auch der Eintrag in der pckeys-Datei.
Aufgelöst wird aber offensichtlich nur mit client.xyz.firma.de.

Frage: Warum wird der Name nicht mit der vollständigen Domäne aufgelöst und wie könnten wir abhilfe schaffen?

Hi,
wir haben ja bekanntlich einen OPSI-Server im Produktiven Einsatz
da empfehlen wir doch mal einen Pflege/Supportvertrag.........

Ansonsten:
Hier gibt es zwei Probleme:
1. da wenn man einen Windows Client nach seinem Full Qualified Name fragt bekommt man leider nur sehr unzuverlässig die korrekte Antwort. Daher wird im Zweifelsfall die die 'Default' Domain des Servers angehängt.
2. Der Betrieb von opsi über mehrere DNS Domains ist potentiell problematisch und seitens uib nicht getestet.

das war klar, dass die Aussage kommen musste :D

Ich hab das gleiche Problem und dazu ein Quick'n'Dirty in Petto: In der pckeys-Datei einfach beides eintragen, also client.sub.xyz.firma.de UND client.xyz.firma.de
Eine wirkliche Lösung des Probems suche ich aber auch noch.
Wäre schön, wenn noch wer mithelfen könnte :geek:
