Hi

Ich hab eine installation von Windows 10 mit OPSI gestartet.
Weis jemand wo man von HP Mainboard Treiber für Windows 10 herbekommt??
auf der HP eigenen Seite gibt es nur treiber für windows 8.1 und niedriger
Diese konnten nicht benutzt werden.

Well.. look at the chipset manufacturer. Probably intel, so why don't you check the intel downloadsite?

I did check the intel download site after checking HP
they don't have the drivers either
they have an inf file updater
but it's not of a lot of use during an OS Installation
I tried win8.1 drivers but that did not work

Ich würde sagen, entweder HP Seite oder Intel Auf eine allgemeine Frage kann man nur allgemein antworten

Falls Du jedoch den Typ verraten würdest, könnte jemand eine alternative Quelle wissen. Falls es diese auch nicht gibt, gäbe es noch die Möglichkeit einen PC mit Win 7 bzw 8.1 aufzusetzen und über MS upzudaten. Wenn der unter Win10 problemlos läuft, dann die Treiber extrahieren und in opsi einbinden.

Geht das auch nicht, dann weiß ich auch nicht mehr weiter. (Einen HP 800G1 SFF habe ich auf obige Art eingebunden)

You have to know intel a little bit better, and know what to do to get the correct drivers.

Install this one on a VM, then find the .inf files and use those

This file can be opened with total commander, or similar, like 7-zip. Copy the drivers to your opsi server, but only keep the correct NDIS directories for windows 10, or older ones.

By the way, isn't the HP support site the quickest site ever?

They are HP Compaq 8300 Series I am supporting 100+ and 3 different types.
I did check HP support site. I found their windows 10 Page and it didn't have the drivers only an update tool
I already have the network dirvers, but thank you for the links.

A VM might be good but virtualising the correct mainboard could be difficult.

I think I am going to wait with the migration to Windows 10 for a while
Perhaps in a few moths or next year the win10 drivers will be out.

also ich habe das gleiche Modell (HP 8300 SFF) mit Windows 10 (mit Win7/8.1 Treibern) installieren können. Auch die Vorgängerversionen (HP Compaq 8200/8100/8000 SFF) konnte ich mit den offiziellen Win7/Win8 Treibern einbinden.
Hatte nur das Problem, das der AHCI Treiber bei allen Modellen von opsi nicht geschluckt wurde, wodurch dann gar keine Treiber eingebunden wurden. Habe den AHCI Treiber aus dem Treiberverzeichnis herausgenommen (er nutzt dann den "Standard AHCI Controller"), dann hat's geklappt.

Can you show the output of show-drivers.py (or what's it called).. I would be able to make a simple driver package for you. Because, then I would know what to include, the HP site isn't very clear on what's all in that computer.

But give me the output of that show-drivers thing, and I will find the newest drivers for you. Hmm, I might as well make a how-to for the wiki.
