opsi 3.4 RC

Beitrag von pav5088 »

I've tried the new release candidate, but I'm having a problem getting opsi-configed to work. I previously had 3.3.1 installed (if this makes a difference). I'm running on Debian Lenny. The current user belongs to the opsiadmin and pcpatch groups. This is the error I get (the configed log is empty) :
markp@amd64:~$ /usr/bin/opsi-configed
/usr/bin/opsi-configed: line 5: update-alternatives: command not found
starting de.uib.configed.configed

Hi,

this is a bug which crashes the opsi configed if didn't copy the file
http://download.uib.de/opsi3.4/modules
to the directory /etc/opsi
It will be fixed soon.
Meanwhile use the modules file.

regards

Make sure to flip license_management to 'no' if you don't want to use it. Otherwise you'll hit a bunch of errors.

This only partly works, as it turns out. It will turn license management off but it causes the modules file to be invalid. Can we get a copy of the modules file with license_management = no, please? And maybe one that doesn't expire next week? ;)

Try to change the configed settings by the methods provided in the opsi 3.4 manual, this should do it... I did it, too, but i actually don't remember how i dit it. Long term short, RT(f)M!
And there is no way to get a modules-file that doesn't expire at the end of this month unless you pay for it ;-)
