Re: Failed to mount
Strange, sorry!
Well, maybe its quicker te explain it.
When i try to image a client who is in another vlan it doesn't work. Opsi wants to access the smb share with opsi-nl-dev . Client is in vlan ehv.xxx.xx
So the client has to mount on opsi-nl-dev.dev.xxx.xx.
Since we have 8 offices with multiple vlans its easier to change opsi config. (I hope)
But, how can i change this?

Well, it shouldn't work if it is in another vlan! That is the point of vlans.loggenk hat geschrieben:When i try to image a client who is in another vlan it doesn't work. Opsi wants to access the smb share with opsi-nl-dev . Client is in vlan ehv.xxx.xx

I don't really understand the rest of your problem

Re: Failed to mount
Hi,
Try to explain it better....
When i try to PXE opsi is trying to mount //opsi-nl-dev/opsi_depot. I receive an error that opsi can't resolve hostname opsi-nl-dev.
My idea is that when i try to mount //opsi-nl-dev.dev.xxx.xx/opsi_depot.
So, is it possible to change the hostname to FQDN? (or ip address)
I can ping from vlan where client is in to opsi server.
With regards,
Kees....

Re: Failed to mount
Hi,
you can change this in "Properties of Depot" directly in the configed (on the top, second button on the right side). You must edit the configuration: depotRemoteUrl, then you can change this option to IP-Address or FQDN.
