byAudit and Gigabyte boards

Hello,
I met with one problem that bothers me in netboot product "win7-x64_4.0.3-2". If you assign folder "addtional drivers" everything is ok, but if I want to use "byAudit" in normal names it goes, but this is not true of Gygabyte motherboards. (it cannot copy to target computer)

Showdrivers.py works correct, but not script for copy drivers to installed computer. My guess is that the problem is either in the comma in the title or the total length of the file path. Any idea how to solve this inconvenience to work "byAudit" with Gigabyte motherboards?

have a look at Vendor and Model entries in the hardware inventory from the client.

Is this how opsi detectets this client?

Without a look in your complete Bootimage, we cannot say anything about your problem.

You can look yourself in the bootimage, what was detected from opsi. Perhaps you can see the problem. Otherwise we can help you with a support contract.

If both of fields in the inventory are empty, then you cannot use byAudit for this client.

the vendor and model is the same. Show_drivers.py looks correct too, but I cannot find drivers in logs like "oem13.inf", etc. On local machine they miss too. If i apply additional_drivers, it is ok:

When i do Vendor/Model in byAudit in show_drivers.py everything seem to be ok as post above, but i cannot find drivers in logs(bootimage) and on installed machine.

Have you created the Gigabyte directory from windows via samba or on the Linux console? I had problems with the directory being misnamed. Via Samba the name of this directory is something like G7AK51~L. This fixed my problem of the drivers not getting copied via the byAudit method. May work here as well?

If you had created the directory via Samba you could have fixed it via Linux. Sorry, can't help you any further.

Hello,
we have found, that it really in samba directory looks like that: "G7AK51~L".
Fix for this is below:
edit file "/etc/samba/smb.conf"
add to section [opt_pcbin]:
mangled names = no

After this change the folder is OK. (in FS and samba too) But still it does not copy drivers. Tried the lastest test build "win7-x64_4.0.3-7.opsi". (same here)
