loginblocker

Beitrag von gmonk63 »

Hello,

How do I prevent loginblocker from activating or being intalled ? I have seen other posts about turning off login by by switching LoginBlockerStart = off or in the event gui but every time its seems login blocker still gets installed or I unable to login at all because all I get is a blank background after ctl-alt-del Does opsiclient require loginblocker to function i noticed when making changes in the ini and switching loginblocker to off the client would install but the opsi service would not start and I could not install packages by firing events .... My reason for disabling this completely is we have mobile users that are not always connected and it is quite annoying to them to have to always see and wait for opsi to check for updates when there will be none since they are mobile ...I only want to be able to schedule installs when I know they are in the office or when there pc responds to pings

Hi,

try the product property 'loginblockerstart' of the opsi-client-agent product.

In detail it depends on your Windows version because there is a large difference between NT5 and NT6.

Did you think about a support contract to get detailed help ?
