Hi,

Der Opsi-Product-Updater sendet ja eine E-Mail wenn er etwas getan hat.
Bei uns sendet er diese E-Mail nur steht nichts mehr in der Mail.
Was kann das sein wir benutzen jetzt leider Windows Exchange 2010
und hatten schon Probleme mit angehängten Dateien Die blat versendet hat dort muste
-attach statt -attacht eingestellt werden kann das hier auch sein?

Hi,

schwer zu sagen, das ist aber das zweite mal, dass ich höre, dass es mit dem Mailversenden ein Problem gibt, wenn ein Umstieg auf Exchange gemacht wurde. Ich denke wir werden versuchen der Sache auf den Grund zu gehen, allerdings ist das wahrscheinlich für uns nicht so einfach, denn wir benutzen intern keinen Exchange (Wir sind ja auch eine OpenSource Firma ).

Ich kann sagen, dass wir der Sache eventuell mal bei Gelegenheit nachgehen, aber ich kann nicht versprechen dass es einen Fix geben wird und bald schon gar nicht. Was uns helfen könnte an der Stelle ist entweder ein offizieller Auftrag, oder jemand aus der Community, der uns Debug Arbeit an der Stelle abnimmt und seine Ergebnisse mit uns teilt.

ich beobachte auf meinem Server ein Ähnliches verhalten. Ich rufe den Cronjob wie folgt auf:

Jede nacht bekomme ich dann zum einen eine Leere Mail

obwohl ich eigentlich nur eine erhalten möchte. Als MTA kommt dabei ein gewöhnlicher Postfix zum Einsatz.

Das am Anfang der Zeile sind sicherlich shell Farbcodes, die den Spaß auf der shell einfärben, was aber in einem cronjob völlig sinnfrei ist.

Mit der Formatierung der 2. Mail könnte ich leben, dass aber immer noch eine leere zusätzlich verschickt wird nervt allerdings.

Hi,

mal ohne -vv probieren.
Ein cron-job soll ja eher schweigsam sein und sich nur melden wenn es ein Problem gibt.
Daher sind die -vv Ausgaben vom Entwickler nur für den interaktiven Einsatz gedacht gewesen.

Das bei dir 2 Mails verschickt werden liegt daran wie dein Cronjob eingerichtet ist. Was du machst ist den opsi-product-updater im verbose-Modus zu starten und die Ausgabe dann per E-Mail zu versenden, deshalb bekommst du auch diese "komisch" formatierte E-Mail. Wenn du das so belassen willst bleibt dein Cronjob wie gehabt:

Allerdings musst du in der opsi-product-updater.conf folgendes ändern:

Wenn man allerdings nur die von opsi generierte Mail haben möchte muss der Cronjob wie folgt aussehen:

Damit bekommst du die Mail geschickt welche opsi generiert. Diese ist aber leer wenn du nicht noch eine Einstellung in der opsi-product-updater.conf vornimmst. Was wohl auch das Problem von ed_2 lösen sollte.

Wichtig dabei ist das SMTP-Server und -Port auskommentiert werden, da sich dein Postfix um den Mailversand kümmert.
