I'd like to discuss a way to manage opsi users whose are rarely (never) connected to VPN corporate network.
My first idea is to launch a script via Windows scheduled task once a week, which will do the following :
1. Connect to VPN in background and check in background if any opsi update are required. If there are update available go to 2. else exit.
2. inform user with an opsi popup that the computer will be updated in 10 min. Tell the user to save its work, close all programs and wait during update.
3. Launch opsi client via command line in the same way it does before CTRL+ALT+DEL
Your comments are welcome !
