Old versions of opsi-linux-bootimage

Beitrag von paja »

Hi,

I have found that some computers require specific versions of opsi-linux-bootimage package. Is it possible to download other than the newest version? In this case I need opsi-linux-bootimage_20110720-1_all.deb.
Thank you.

Please check if the bootimage opsi-linux-bootimage_20110926-1_all.deb from

deb http://download.opensuse.org/repositori ... 40-testing

works for you.

If not, please tell us your problem in more detail.

Old debian packages usually located in
/var/cache/apt/archives

regards,

Unfortunately the version from testing repository did not help. The problem is that Dell OptiPlex GX280 freezes immediately after downloading miniroot.bz2. I can see many dots, then Ready and that is all, the computers stops responding. I have tried to install the newest BIOS and switch from SATA to compatible mode but without any positive changes. The only working solution was boot image from July 2010 but I have installed the newest version and the previous was deleted.

Best regards,
Pavel

Problem solved. The client has less than 512 MB memory and in the install file was set parameter mem=512M. When the value was decreased to 400M, everything works perfectly.
