das Cachen wird vom opsiclientd gemacht und vermutlich wird sich im Log des opsiclientd auch ein Hinweis finden.
Ich würde das Caching mal triggern, z.B. über das Timer Event und dann im C:\opsi.org\log\opsiclientd.log mal nach Hinweisen suchen

kannst du noch deine /etc/opsi/backends/hostcontrol.conf und das Host-Objekt von dem Client in Frage teilen?

Der opsiconfd nimmt eigentlich das Network und die Broadcast-Adresse die "am nächsten" zur hinterlegten Client-IP-Adresse im Host-Objekt liegt.

warum änderst du nicht einfach den Wert des Property winpe_partition_size im Netboot Produkt?
Es gab mal zwischendurch eine ConfigEd Version, wo man in der Property-Liste scrollen musste um das Property zu sehen...

Naja die Brechstangen-Methode wäre ja das deaktivieren vom Systray in den opsi-client-agent Localboot Produkt-Properties (systray_install) und dann nochmaliges ausrollen des opsi-client-agent...

Under normal circumstances the opsi-linux-bootimage tries to change the boot-order to hard-disk, more specifically to the winpe-efi entry. If it fails to do that it should boot to a opsi themed grub menu where local-disk is the default selection and boot from there.

Da das WinPE noch da ist, wird das bei den postinstall Tasks kaputt gegangen sein. Im Log-Ordner sollte also eine postinst.log liegen und auch noch die alte opsi-client-agent.log von der fehlgeschlagenen Installation.
