Hi
Is it possible to disable ipv6 in the win7-x64-image?
We have a problem with our package "fire on-demand action", which cant resolve the hostname.
When i try to ping the client i get an answer from a ipv6 address.
Best Regards

Hi,
it should be possible. But firts of all you should think (and tell) of the way the name resolution works in your network.
Did you read:
http://download.uib.de/opsi_stable/doc/ ... resolution
?

Hi Oertel
I looked at the config-nameresolution, and changed the method of resolution to example 1.
The "on_demand"-event now runs without problems.
