Just starting to play with OPSI for the college I work for. So far so good.
Does anyone have a script for newer Java updates than the one that ships as standard(think its at 20)?
I tried tricking the original scripts to install the new one, and while it installs on computers with no java, it fails on ones with java installed. The uninstall script knows nothing about anything above 20, so wont remove 21-29. So I cant issue the command to uninstall first (as most of you know, Java can be 'fun' to update at the best of times).
Or is it a case of finding keys for the missing updates and then adjusting the script accordingly?
Basically I want to send out Java updates as they come out, either by uninstalling the previous version and then installing the new one, or 'upgrading' the current version on the client.
Any help would be appreciated.
