opsi 4.1: Updates in testing

Beitragvon n.wenselowski » 04 Mär 2019, 11:19

Dear opsi users,

updates have been released for opsi 4.1 in testing.

With the general availability of winexe for the distributions supported by the opsi 4.1 server OSes winexe has been added as a dependency in opsi-windows-support.

opsi-admin gained support for the configuration of connection data (address, username, password) in a file so that configuring this on the commandline is not required anymore.
A blogpost explains background information.
More information can be found in the manual.

The overview page of the opsiconfd has been overhauled.
There is now a simpler selection for downloading the configed installer that reacts to the used OS.

Translations for opsi-admin can be made in Transifex as usual.

Updated packages in testing:

Server packages:
  • opsi-directory-connector 28-1
  • opsi-linux-bootimage 20190227-1
  • opsi-utils 4.1.1.30-1
  • opsi-windows-support 4.1.1.8-1
  • opsiconfd 4.1.1.18-4
  • python-opsi 4.1.1.62-1

Linux localboot packages:
  • opsi-configed 4.1.1.0.5-2
