today we published new packages for opsi.
Updated Repository Metadata
As part of this release, we made a slight adjustment to the metadata file format in our opsi package repositories.
To ensure that the opsi-package-updater continues to access these repositories reliably, you will need at least version 4.3.14.2 of opsi-utils.
This version was already promoted to the stable branch with the May release.
Please make sure that you are using at least this version if you rely on the opsi-package-updater.
Removal of opsi-winst
Support for the deprecated opsi-winst package has now been removed with the current release.
All references to it have been eliminated.
We recommend uninstalling this package from your opsi 4.3 depot servers using the following command:
Code: Alles auswählen
opsi-package-manager -d all --purge opsi-winst
The new opsi-client-agent for Windows comes with improved stability.
In particular, the included opsi-login-blocker has been revised and now operates more reliably.
Enhancements in opsi-configed
The opsi-configed administration tool has received several optimizations and functional improvements.
Tables in the license management and module areas are now sorted numerically rather than alphabetically.
File uploads via the message bus have been noticeably accelerated.
User experience has also been improved: selection behavior in table searches has been refined, group actions can now be applied to all clients, and search fields—such as those used for package installation—now feature autofill.
The client information panel has been redesigned, and both MFA checks and the WebDAV connection have been optimized.
In addition, numerous minor bugs have been fixed. For full details, please refer to the changelogs.
Support for New Linux Distributions
For the first time, this release includes stable packages for the automated installation of RedHat 10 family operating systems.
We now support RedHat 10, AlmaLinux 10, Rocky Linux 10, and Oracle Linux 10.
These distributions can now be seamlessly integrated into your opsi environment.
