Dear opsi users,
today we published new packages for opsi.
opsiconfd
The new opsiconfd introduces an optimized, simplified, and more efficient database structure for software inventory. The necessary database migrations are performed automatically when opsiconfd starts.
opsi-client-agent
The new opsi-client-agent for Windows provides improved support for environments that use "Secure Windows Logon" via CTRL+ALT+DEL. The updated opsi-client-agents for Linux and macOS fix an issue that could occur when mounting WebDAV shares if the opsi-config server provides multiple CA certificates.
opsi-configed
With version 4.3.6, opsi-configed shines with a fresh look: new icons, smoother performance, and a reimagined navigation. The icons seamlessly adapt to any theme, while the interface feels more harmonious and refined – as if the program has reinvented itself.

Windows NT 6 Netboot Products
The Windows NT6 Netboot Products have received a new property called storage_driver_in_drvpe. This is primarily intended to prevent an error during Windows 11 24H2 installations that occurs when a driver already integrated into WinPE is reinstalled via the drvpe directory. Devices using Intel RST were most commonly affected.
The default value is set to false, ensuring that no drivers are copied to the directory, thereby preventing the issue.
Additionally, we patch the unattend.xml in the custom subdirectory of the product directory. In some cases, the patching process may not complete successfully. If no custom modifications have been made to the unattend.xml, the unattend.xml.template provided by the Netboot package can be copied from the opsi subdirectory.
Notes on Window 11 24H2
With the latest Windows 11 version 24H2, problems are increasingly occurring during Windows installation. These problems are due to changes to the Windows installer. In our tests, we were able to resolve the problems by combining the installation files of Windows 11 23H2 with the install.wim of Windows 11 24H2.
SLES 15-6 Support
Support for SLES 15.6 in opsi 4.3 is now officially released as stable—both as a Linux server operating system and as an opsi Netboot product.
Release opsi 4.3 - stable - February 2025

Re: opsi 4.3 Februrary Release
Hello,
We've noticed that the new opsi-configed 4.3.6 is lacking the option (icon) to check if clients are reachable.
Is this a bug or is there any new option to check clients' reachability?
Thank you!
Best regards,
Ari Constâncio
