Dear opsi users,

today we published new packages for opsi.

opsiconfd
The new opsiconfd contains a number of bug fixes and improvements.

- The health check now also checks whether clients have not been in contact with the opsi service for a longer period of time and whether product actions have failed. In addition, the health check is now carried out automatically at regular intervals. In combination with the new caching, the health check data is thus available more quickly.
- A time tolerance can now be configured for the TOTP procedure.
- The SAML configuration can now be conveniently set up using the `opsiconfd setup --configure-saml` command. Automatic configuration via SAML 2.0 XML metadata is supported. Support for encrypted SAML assertions has also been added. SAML roles can now be mapped to any opsi roles.

opsi-configed
Fixed a bug that caused the user roles not to work when logging in via SSO.

windows netboot products
This release features various changes within the windows netboot products. One of the most important ones is the support for Windows 11 24H2. To support this Windows 11 Release changes in the installation procedure had to be done. For example the WinPE partition is now mapped to drive letter "W" instead of X as X is used for the RAMDisk and the unattended installation is now very strict about the drive letter mapping. On the other hand Windows 11 24H2 now always adds a Recovery partition after the system partition, despite the given partition layout un the unattend.xml. This recovery partition is deleted in the postinst process to ensure the given layout in the unattend.xml. Especially opsi-local-image products rely on the given partition layout and any change will break the used schemes.

Please note that you need an up to date WinPE with the features "SecureStartup" and "WMI" to install Windows 11 24H2 and the current hardware requirements.

Important notice: If you wish to upgrade your opsi-local-image installed mashine to Windows 11 24H2 do not upgrade via an inplace upgrade through the Windows Update feature. This reders opsi-local-image backups unusable as the inplace upgrade adds a recovery partition and therefore changes the given partitioning scheme. We recommend the usage of the product "windows11-upgrade" as this product uses a different approach and does not modify the mashine partition table.

memtest86
The netboot product memtest86 has been upgraded and is now Secure Boot capable

opsi vm
The opsi vm got a refreshment. Not only the packages received an update also the skript used for the first configuration of the vm has been replaced by a more modern alternative.
