opsi 4.2 EOL Release

Beitrag von m.radtke »

Liebe opsi Anwenderinnen und Anwender,

Dear opsi users,

It is time to say goodbye.
opsi 4.2 reached it End-of-Life.
With this release we publish packages in opsi 4.2 stable and testing.

An existing opsi 4.2 installation doesn't stop working after June 30. We strongly advise to update to opsi 4.3. A migration can be done by us as part of a support contract or one can do it by him/herself with the help of our documentation.

The Linux netboot packages changed the way the opsi-linux-client-agent installation checks if the opsi-server is available.

config-win10 has small bugfixes.

The new opsi-configed 4.2.22.29-1 which is released to testing and stable solves some bugs.

Regards

Mathias
